Role Overview
The Assistant Relationship Manager supports Relationship Managers (RMs) in delivering exceptional service to Private Banking clients by managing administrative tasks, client inquiries, and assisting in financial advisory activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative and client service support to Relationship Managers serving Private Banking clients.
- Address client inquiries and instructions promptly, resolving most issues and requests independently.
- Monitor client account transactions and activities to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist RMs in delivering financial advisory services to clients.
- Maintain accurate client data and reports, including contact lists, account details, credit review and renewal statuses.
- Manage administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, preparing correspondence, coordinating travel arrangements, organizing meetings and receptions, and creating presentation materials.
- Collaborate with Product Groups, Operations, and other departments as required.
- Adhere strictly to all internal and external regulations and policies at all times.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in client servicing, operations, or sales support within financial institutions.
- Possess a Bachelor's degree or diploma from a reputable institution.
- Solid understanding of financial products and services.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and client interaction skills.
- Highly detail-oriented with a meticulous approach to work.
- Forward-thinking mindset with adaptability and willingness to innovate.
- Strong teamwork skills, able to collaborate effectively across departments and understand team interdependencies.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining empathy, passion, and resilience.
- CACS certification is preferable.
