Assistant Professor of Teaching in Biological Sciences

Position Overview

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) seeks qualified candidates for an Assistant Professor of Teaching position within the College of Sciences, starting Spring 2027. This is a full-time, in-person role focused on teaching and assessing online biology lecture and laboratory courses designed primarily for non-biology majors. Qualifications and Requirements

• A Ph.D. in a biological science or closely related field from a regionally accredited institution or an equivalent recognized by U.S. educational accreditation bodies, to be completed before the position start date.
• Experience in delivering online undergraduate biology courses is preferred.
