About the Institution
Kaushalya – The Skill University, established by the Government of Gujarat, focuses on promoting skill development and skill-oriented education. The university is inviting applications for faculty appointments through direct recruitment or deputation.
Open Positions
The recruitment covers two teaching roles: Assistant Professor (Instrumentation) and Assistant Professor (Mechatronics). Each role carries one vacancy.
Role Details and Pay Scale
Both posts are placed at Pay Level 10 under the 7th CPC, with an entry pay range of 57700 to 182400. The age of superannuation will follow Government of Gujarat norms. Appointments will begin initially for 4 years and may be extended depending on performance.
Qualification Criteria
For Assistant Professor (Instrumentation), candidates should hold B.E., B.Tech., or B.S. with specialization in Instrumentation, along with M.E., M.Tech., M.S., or Integrated M.Tech. in Automation and Robotics, Automation Engineering, or Electronics Robotics, with first class or equivalent in at least one degree.
For Assistant Professor (Mechatronics), applicants should have B.E., B.Tech., or B.S. with specialization in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics, along with M.E., M.Tech., M.S., or Integrated M.Tech. in CAD CAM, Mechatronics, Robotics and Mechatronics, or Precision Manufacturing, with first class or equivalent in at least one degree.
Preference will be given to candidates holding a Ph.D. In addition, candidates who completed their Ph.D. after a bachelor’s degree from an institution of national importance and have GATE, GPAT, or CEED qualification are also eligible for the Assistant Professor role.
