About the Role

Ocean Network Express, based in Singapore, is seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager/Manager to lead Talent Acquisition efforts at their Global Headquarters. This role is full-time and requires on-site presence. The company operates within the transportation, logistics, supply chain, and storage sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Devise and execute proactive talent acquisition strategies aligned with the company’s objectives.
  • Manage the entire recruitment cycle including sourcing, interviewing, and finalizing hires.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to identify hiring needs and develop a strong candidate pipeline.
  • Establish and maintain robust relationships with current and potential industry partners to ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate with global teams to promote the organization’s employer branding initiatives, positioning it as an employer of choice.
  • Ensure all recruitment processes at the Global HQ comply with local legal requirements.
  • Analyze recruitment metrics to optimize talent acquisition procedures.
  • Support initiatives related to talent development, employee engagement, and the ONE Academy program.
  • Create strategies to reduce hiring costs by improving cost-per-hire efficiency, emphasizing internal mobility, employee referrals, automated AI tools, and employer branding to attract passive candidates.
  • Participate in global projects and workshops related to HR and talent acquisition.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a relevant field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 to 5 years hands-on experience in Talent Acquisition or at least 7 years in Human Resources.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor junior team members effectively.
  • Strong communication skills suitable for diverse audiences.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to engage across various job functions and organizational levels.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
