Assistant Manager - UAE VAT Consultancy

About the Role

CNK & Associates LLP is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager specializing in VAT with consultancy expertise in the United Arab Emirates to join their expanding Tax Team. This role demands oversight of VAT compliance and advisory projects, primarily within the UAE regulatory framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage VAT compliance processes and consultancy engagements under UAE law.
• Examine and review VAT returns while providing detailed technical advisory to clients.
• Assist in conducting VAT health checks, support Federal Tax Authority (FTA) audits, assessments, and voluntary disclosures.
• Provide expert guidance to clients on UAE VAT laws ensuring full regulatory adherence.
• Develop and nurture strong client relationships and mentor junior staff members.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in UAE VAT consultancy and compliance.
• Comprehensive knowledge of UAE VAT legislation and FTA tax regulations.
• Practical experience with VAT advisory, compliance, and audit processes related to FTA.
• Professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent are mandatory.
• Strong analytical abilities paired with excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
