About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis to lead and oversee the financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and business performance monitoring for our US Business Operations. This position is based in Lakewood, CO, with a hybrid work schedule: remote on Mondays and Fridays, onsite Tuesday through Thursday.
The successful candidate will serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership and cross-functional teams by delivering insightful financial analysis that supports profitable growth, operational efficiency, and informed decision-making. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance and Head of North America Finance, this role demands strong financial expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual operating plan (AOP), strategic planning, and rolling forecast processes for the US business segment.
- Develop robust financial models to support revenue forecasts, headcount planning, investment choices, and expense management.
- Collaborate with business leaders to build detailed budgets and forecasts aligned with strategic objectives.
- Enhance forecasting accuracy by using data-driven insights and operational metrics.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial outlooks to executive management.
- Partner with Sales, Operations, and Commercial teams to monitor revenue performance, analyze trends, pricing, and growth drivers.
- Design revenue forecasting techniques and performance dashboards to inform business decisions.
- Conduct financial modeling and scenario evaluations for strategic initiatives, investments, and programs to enhance profitability, growth, and operating leverage.
- Manage operating expense planning, reporting, and variance analysis across the US division.
- Implement cost control measures and collaborate with functional leaders to identify cost reduction and productivity opportunities.
- Assess investment requests, workforce plans, and capital allocations to align with financial goals.
- Prepare timely and accurate reports for management including variance analyses, executive summaries, and KPIs.
- Provide financial insights regarding profitability, margin control, customer performance, and business initiatives.
- Support preparation of presentations for the Board, Executive Leadership Team, and Regional Finance.
- Act as a trusted advisor to various functional leaders including Sales, Operations, Marketing, Customer Success, and Corporate Functions.
- Assist with strategic projects, business case development, mergers and acquisitions evaluation, and investment analyses.
- Promote financial discipline and data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.
- Collaborate with global and regional finance teams to align with corporate objectives and reporting standards.
- Drive continuous improvements in FP&A processes, systems, reporting tools, and models.
- Leverage technology and analytics to automate reporting and enhance effectiveness.
- Champion best practices in financial planning, forecasting, and performance management.
- Participate in finance transformation programs and adoption of advanced planning and reporting tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline required.
- Advanced qualifications such as MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.
- Proficient written and spoken English skills.
- At least eight years of progressive financial planning and analysis or related finance experience.
- Minimum three years of leadership or management experience.
- Experience supporting commercial or operational leaders in complex organizations.
- Proven success in leading budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities.
- Experience in multinational or matrixed environments is advantageous.
- Advanced skills in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance metrics.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, financial planning platforms, and business intelligence tools.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, SAP, or Oracle is beneficial.
- Strategic thinker with strong business partnering and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex financial information effectively.
- Collaborative with an appreciation for diverse viewpoints.
- Enthusiastic, determined, curious, and willing to challenge existing norms to seek improved solutions.

- Competitive gross annual salary range of $115,000 to $135,000, plus performance-based bonus.
