Role Overview
This position is for an Assistant Manager in Technical Sales & Marketing based in Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad, within the Delhi-NCR region. The role focuses on driving technical sales growth, developing new business, and strengthening customer relationships across domestic and export markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Bring prior experience from a comparable role in a Tier 2 automotive components company.
- Have working knowledge of pricing for turned parts and sheet metal components.
- Demonstrate a strong history of managing sales volumes of around 100 crores.
- Contribute to new business sourcing and customer acquisition efforts.
- Lead sales initiatives with a team of 4 to 5 or more members.
- Identify and develop new overseas opportunities, with a focus on export growth and the Indian market.
- Target business prospects in Railways, Defence, and Ordnance segments.
- Travel frequently across India to meet customers and build durable business relationships.
- Resolve customer issues effectively and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Understand internal and external audit processes as well as certification-related requirements.
- Support and mentor business development representatives in finding and converting new opportunities.
Requirements
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is required.
- At least 8-12 years of experience is mentioned for the role.
- The candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in reputed manufacturing or precision engineering companies.
- Experience must include turned and stamped components, along with sub-assemblies.
- Preference is given to candidates from automotive Tier-2 companies, especially ISO/IATF-certified organizations.
- Hands-on exposure to turned components in the stated areas is essential.
- Background in handling customer complaints and field-based client interaction is expected.
