Key Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager with daily oversight of store operations including supervising staff, handling recruitment and hiring, managing bookkeeping, and merchandising tasks.
• Maintain high standards of service by providing fast, friendly customer interactions and enforcing store policies.
• Implement and oversee the food program ensuring quality and adherence to company standards.
• Exemplify leadership qualities by motivating the team, delegating tasks effectively, and ensuring safety and security protocols are followed.

Requirements and Skills

• Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
• Experience with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring processes.
• Strong organizational skills including planning and communicating ideas clearly.
• Competence in cash handling and bookkeeping.
• Problem-solving abilities and empathetic customer advocacy.
• Experience in retail and supervisory or management roles is advantageous.
• Food handling experience and a High School or College diploma are highly desirable.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds for 30 minutes during a shift and occasionally up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level.
• Push or pull with a force up to 20 pounds and perform bending and twisting movements for up to one hour per shift.
• Manual dexterity to manipulate objects, including climbing ladders as needed.
