Job description
Overview
The Assistant Manager will play a key role in advancing Qiddiya's Motorsport initiatives through strategic planning and implementation across events, intellectual property partnerships, and operator appointment processes. This position involves formulating business cases, conducting strategic evaluations, and managing cross-departmental programs while liaising with both internal teams and external collaborators to align motorsport assets with Qiddiya's long-term objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the strategic planning and execution of Qiddiya's Motorsport portfolio, including event management, IP partnerships, and operator appointments.
- Contribute to feasibility studies, develop business cases, and perform financial analyses for new motorsport projects, leveraging market research, demand assessments, and financial models.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary projects incorporating Development, Asset Management, Procurement, Legal, Finance, and external consultants to accomplish project milestones.
- Support procurement of operators through activities like drafting RFPs, preparing governance documents, facilitating evaluation procedures, and managing operator onboarding.
- Assist in organizing international motorsport events and managing relationships with rights holders, ensuring smooth event operations and commercial management.
- Help oversee strategic intellectual property partnerships and commercial initiatives by tracking contracts, deliverables, and activation programs.
- Prepare detailed presentations, reports, business cases, and documents for the Executive Committee to aid in strategic decision-making.
- Maintain program schedules, action items, risk logs, and governance files to guarantee accurate tracking and timely execution.
- Foster and sustain productive relationships with stakeholders and partners to enhance the effectiveness of the Motorsport Strategy deployment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
- At least four years of professional experience in strategy development, management consulting, motorsport, sports, entertainment, destination development, or similar industries.
