The Hospitality Business Unit is actively building a portfolio of hotel assets integral to this vision, emphasizing operational excellence from the earliest stages of planning and design.

Role Overview

As the Senior Manager for Operational Advisory, you will spearhead the operational planning and design development of all hotel operational areas related to guest accommodation. Starting from initial project phases, your responsibility will be to transform operational demands into guest-focused, efficient design solutions that enhance both the guest experience and hotel functionality. Collaboration with Development, Design Teams, Operators, and external consultants is essential to ensure that planning aligns with asset strategy, operator needs, industry best practices, and the standards of the Hospitality BU. You will also be challenged to balance Qiddiya's visionary design ethos with practical hotel requirements, fostering innovative and unconventional approaches.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct operational planning throughout the hotel design process lifecycle.
• Formulate operational concepts and planning guidelines for Rooms Division functions such as Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping, Laundry, Guest Relations, and back-of-house zones.
• Assess design proposals to enhance operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and overall asset performance.
• Outline operational workflows, spatial organization, and inter-functional relationships.
• Work closely with internal teams, hotel operators, architects, and consultants to ensure cohesive operational planning integration.
• Engage in design evaluations, detect potential operational risks, and suggest enhancements.
• Establish operational planning standards and monitor projects against industry-leading practices.
• Collaborate with hotel operators to interpret brand standards and operational prerequisites while maintaining alignment with Qiddiya’s vision and asset strategy.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a closely related discipline.
• Over 10 years of professional experience in luxury hotel operations, operational planning, design development, technical services, or hotel pre-opening projects.
• Proven leadership expertise within Rooms Division or similar hotel operations areas.
• Experience collaborating with hotel operators, architects, designers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Comprehensive understanding of hotel operations, guest journey design, and operational planning.
• Strong stakeholder management abilities, effective communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Previous exposure to the hospitality industry in Saudi Arabia or the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region is advantageous.
