Role Overview
We are seeking motivated professionals to join our team as Assistant Manager, Manager, or Senior Manager during an exciting phase of growth and transformation across multiple sectors. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive risk management services to leading New Zealand corporates, banks, and insurers, aimed at bolstering business performance and supporting national prosperity.
Daily Responsibilities
- Participate as a vital member of the Governance, Risk and Compliance Services team within the broader consulting division.
- Advise clients on pragmatic, simplified, and leading practices for managing risk and compliance effectively.
- Support clients in advancing their risk management practices and guide them through organizational change initiatives.
- Design and evaluate risk management frameworks, policies, standards, governance structures, and reporting processes; foster risk-aware cultures across client organizations.
- Lead and facilitate client workshops and sessions, review relevant documentation, and prepare detailed client reports and deliverables.
- Contribute to team business development efforts by supporting thought leadership creation, proposal development, and opportunity identification in client engagements.
- Demonstrate expertise in risk management functions and current topical issues.
- Engage collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, leveraging strong interpersonal skills to achieve successful project outcomes.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in risk management roles, ideally within financial services or a second line of defense risk function.
- Proficient knowledge of risk and compliance frameworks, risk management methodologies, and associated practices.
- Experience in operational risk or related areas with transferable capabilities is advantageous.
- Exhibits a positive, adaptable approach with eagerness to embrace new challenges and grow professionally.
- Confident communicator, able to work inclusively and collaboratively within teams.
