About the Role

Join the Hub Policy & Development Department within the Strategy & Policy Division, where the focus is on shaping policy for Singapore’s port and maritime hub. The role involves supporting the economic regulation, facilitation, and development of port operations, ferry terminals, and marine service providers so that Singapore continues to strengthen its position as a leading hub port and protects its strategic maritime interests.

What You Will Work On

• Designing, assessing, and improving economic regulation frameworks, including pricing structures and service standards.
• Reviewing whether port and ferry terminal capacity is adequate for the needs of industry stakeholders and passengers.
• Monitoring developments in the port sector and evaluating their implications for Singapore.
• Working with major port authorities to exchange best practices and identify areas of shared interest.

Requirements

Applicants should be able to prepare written submissions and deliver presentations when required. Strong writing, communication, and presentation abilities are essential, along with solid analytical capability, attention to detail, and good organizational skills. The role also calls for someone who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Experience in policy development would be helpful, but candidates without prior experience are also welcome to apply.
