Role Overview
The Assistant Guest Relations Manager will be a vital member of the Front Office team at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray. This role includes overseeing all VIP guest interactions—from arrival to departure—ensuring highly personalized service and seamless collaboration between departments. The role requires facilitating pre-arrival and room inspections according to Jumeirah and LQA standards, cultivating strong relationships with repeat guests by noting preferences and anticipating their needs, leading and mentoring the Guest Relations team through coaching and managing performance aligned with SOPs, and overseeing operational aspects like staffing, budgeting, and adherence to financial and service policies.
Candidate Profile
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality, with additional trainer certification preferred.
- 5 to 8 years of leadership experience within Front Office or Guest Relations departments in luxury hotel settings.
- Expertise managing VIP guests, resolving intricate guest complaints, and maintaining superior service quality.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, Opera PMS, and hotel operational systems.
- Strong leadership qualities with excellent problem-solving, time management skills, and readiness to work varied shifts.
