Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounts (CA)

About the role

This position is for an Assistant Manager in Finance & Accounts based in Bangalore. The role calls for a meticulous and business-focused professional who can manage finance operations, strengthen compliance, and contribute to decision-making through accurate reporting and analysis.

What you will do

• Handle the complete cycle of finance and accounting activities.
• Close books on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Draft and validate financial statements in line with the relevant accounting standards.
• Maintain compliance with statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, and audit-related obligations.
• Work closely with both internal and external auditors.
• Track cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
• Support efforts to improve cost efficiency and overall financial performance.
• Create and enforce finance policies as well as internal control processes.
• Guide, support, and develop the finance and accounts team.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders for business planning and analysis.

Requirements

• Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Should have at least 2 years of post-qualification experience after CA certification.
• Good command over accounting standards, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
• Hands-on experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Tally.
• Strong capability in analysis, problem-solving, and team leadership.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented approach with the ability to deliver under tight timelines.

Preferred background

Experience in retail, manufacturing, or corporate environments is preferred. Exposure to financial audits and regulatory compliance will be an added advantage.

Role summary

This is a full-time, onsite finance leadership role in Bangalore requiring a CA with 2–4 years of experience to oversee accounting, compliance, reporting, and team coordination.
