  • Work closely with the head office planning team, project managers, works managers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to keep timelines aligned.
  • Track progress against the approved baseline plan and revise forecasts as work advances.
  • Monitor dredger performance, reclamation equipment output, daily production, and overall resource use.
  • Compile production reports and review trends to assess operational efficiency.
  • Spot operational bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for new dredging and reclamation work.
  • Compare actual expenses with budgeted amounts and flag deviations.
  • Use Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint to build dashboards, reports, and presentations.
  • Share insights on productivity, cost performance, and project KPIs.
  • Prepare project closure reports with detailed analysis.
  • Develop periodic performance updates for dredgers and project progress reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of output, expenses, and milestone completion.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Strong understanding of dredging methods and land reclamation processes.
  • Hands-on experience with Primavera for planning and schedule control.
  • Advanced capability in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI for analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, hydrographic survey data, and dredger logs.
  • Good analytical thinking, troubleshooting ability, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with teams across operations, finance, and procurement.

Qualifications

Preferred education includes BE/BTech in Civil, Mechanical, or Harbor Engineering. ME/MTech or MBA is considered an advantage.
