Role Overview

The Assistant Manager plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store, supporting the management team to meet business objectives and enhancing customer satisfaction. This full-time, permanent position is based onsite in Gander, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with store manager to optimize store profitability and performance.
• Teach and coach team members in effective sales techniques and product knowledge.
• Analyze sales performance and develop strategies for improvement.
• Prepare employee schedules to balance performance demands and payroll efficiency.
• Encourage and motivate team members, fostering a positive environment and pride in the brand.
• Recruit, train, and develop staff to build a high-performing team.
• Oversee visual merchandising and ensure adherence to brand planograms.
• Maintain store standards, including cleanliness and customer service quality.
• Manage store opening and closing procedures and control operational expenses.
