Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Head Butler to become an integral member of our Guest Experience team. This role supports the Head Butler by managing the daily operations of the Butler staff while guaranteeing a tailored, seamless, and luxurious stay for each villa guest. The Assistant Head Butler is pivotal in upholding Forbes Five-Star service quality, orchestrating unique guest experiences, and inspiring the team to deliver unparalleled hospitality that defines the FAENA brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Butler in overseeing and coordinating daily Butler team activities.
  • Maintain personalized, exceptional service standards for villa guests throughout their visits.
  • Supervise all Butler operations to consistently fulfill luxury service benchmarks.
  • Efficiently manage guest preferences, requests, and bespoke arrangements with precision.
  • Collaborate closely with departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Culinary, Spa, Concierge, and Engineering to ensure flawless guest experiences.
  • Ensure smooth guest arrivals, in-villa stays, and departures.
  • Oversee villa preparation, turndown services, and in-room amenities, guaranteeing immaculate presentation.
  • Address guest issues and recovery tactfully and professionally.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and support to the Butler team to maintain Forbes Five-Star standards.
  • Maintain accurate guest profiles and preferences to personalize future visits.
  • Perform thorough quality inspections of villas prior to guest arrival.
  • Manage Butler team scheduling, daily task assignments, and operational planning.
  • Support VIP arrivals, special occasions, and customized in-villa experiences.
  • Monitor and seek continuous improvements in service delivery to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Serve as the principal contact point when the Head Butler is absent, upholding utmost professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related discipline preferred.
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in luxury butler service, guest relations, or villa operations.
  • Prior supervisory or Senior Butler experience within a Forbes Five-Star or ultra-luxury hotel or resort.
  • Comprehensive understanding of luxury hospitality practices and personalized guest service.
  • Experience in Rooms Division, Butler Service, Front Office, or Guest Experience departments.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational aptitude and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capability to anticipate guest needs and provide intuitive, tailored service.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and guest management software is advantageous.
  • Fluency in English required; knowledge of additional languages is beneficial.
  • Genuine passion for luxury hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.
