About the Role
As an Assistant Front Office Manager at DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island, you will play a pivotal role in supervising the Front Office team to ensure all members are motivated and equipped to provide guests with an outstanding experience from check-in through check-out.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Front Office Manager in managing daily operations, ensuring adherence to hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards.
- Oversee guest service functions such as reservations, registration, room allocations, inventory management, check-in and check-out processes, and swiftly handle guest inquiries or concerns to maintain smooth service delivery.
- Track guest satisfaction and feedback, making service improvements where necessary, and guaranteeing personalized, memorable experiences for regular and VIP guests.
- Drive revenue by optimizing room occupancy, managing inventory effectively, promoting upselling strategies, and endorsing hotel amenities and loyalty programs.
- Assist with team planning, recruitment, training, and development to maintain efficient departmental operations.
- Monitor and manage staff scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage according to business demands.
- Ensure efficient use of front office technologies including property management systems while maintaining operational standards and compliance.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
- Previous leadership experience in a Front Office environment, ideally within hospitality, hotel, leisure, or retail sectors.
- Strong competence in hotel systems, PMS software, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Commercially minded with an ability to recognize revenue opportunities and aid sales efforts.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to foster excellent working relationships.
- A high level of professionalism, accountability, resilience, and the capacity to thrive in dynamic situations.
- Commitment to outstanding guest service delivery and enhancing guest experiences.
- Ability to maintain attention to detail and performance standards under pressure.
- Professional appearance in alignment with brand standards.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing operational and business needs.
