Assistant Engineer

About the Role

Jindal Stainless Limited is seeking an Assistant Engineer to join their Central QA - RO ZLD department located in Jajpur, Odisha. The role is situated within the Mining & Metals sector and involves crucial technical support for quality assurance and reverse osmosis zero liquid discharge systems. The candidate will engage in design, implementation, and upkeep of water treatment and quality control frameworks, ensuring alignment with environmental regulations and industry standards. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, operation, and maintenance of reverse osmosis (RO) and zero liquid discharge (ZLD) water treatment systems to enhance treatment efficiency.
• Perform regular inspections and evaluate QA system performance to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Work collaboratively with multiple teams to identify and resolve technical issues related to water treatment and quality assurance.
• Help implement process optimizations and preventive maintenance plans to improve system durability and operational efficiency.
• Compile comprehensive technical reports, documentation, and data analysis to facilitate quality audits and management reviews.
• Continuously monitor performance indicators pertinent to water treatment and quality control, proposing corrective actions when needed.
• Ensure all activities meet environmental, health, and safety standards applicable to the mining and metals industry.
• Assist with vendor assessments and coordinate procurement of equipment and materials supporting RO and ZLD systems.
• Engage in training programs to remain updated on technological advancements and best practices in water treatment and quality assurance.
• Support senior engineering staff in project planning, execution, and commissioning efforts within the department.
