Job description
Overview
Join our proactive team at the Walk In Service, part of the Out Of Hours Primary Care (GMED) initiative, located in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire. This pilot program supported by the Scottish Government offers same-day urgent primary care without needing appointments.
Key Duties
You will facilitate and coordinate clinical resources effectively during the Walk In Service's operational hours of 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Sunday, including public holidays and festive periods. The role requires close collaboration within a multidisciplinary team and interaction with the public and various departments confidently and professionally.
Candidate Profile and Skills
Ideal candidates will be enthusiastic, possess excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities, and demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail under pressure. Initiative-taking and methodical work approach are essential. Prior healthcare support experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
Contract and Working Hours
This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months with potential to transition onto Bank shifts. Shifts are scheduled on a four-week rotation with various hours available. Pay includes enhancements for unsocial working hours.
