Role Overview

The Assistant Director of Regional Sales & Marketing will spearhead sales strategies aligned with the group's overarching business objectives. This leadership role demands active involvement in strategic planning, sales forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation to meet revenue and market share goals across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement regional sales plans to secure revenue growth and expand market presence.
  • Identify and capitalize on emerging market opportunities and broaden distribution networks.
  • Set measurable sales targets, monitor progress, and regularly report performance metrics.
  • Launch sales programs aimed at market expansion, emphasizing traditional travel agency channels.
  • Lead and motivate the sales team, promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, high achievement, and ethics.
  • Coordinate joint marketing campaigns with strategic partners to boost brand awareness and revenue.
  • Monitor sales outcomes to optimize pricing, yield, and conversion rates effectively.
  • Analyze market dynamics, competitor actions, and consumer trends to guide business decisions.
  • Manage budgets for regional marketing initiatives, ensuring high return on investment and judicious use of resources.

Candidate Requirements

  • Hold a graduate degree in business or a closely related discipline.
  • Possess a minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience demonstrating leadership in team engagement and achievement of corporate goals.
  • Demonstrate a creative, entrepreneurial mindset combined with enthusiasm and a positive approach.
  • Exhibit thought leadership with advanced expertise in sales strategy development, negotiation, and execution.
  • Show strong business acumen, problem-solving skills, customer focus, and a team-oriented work style.
  • Have a solid grasp of the travel trade ecosystem, including knowledge of international market dynamics, distribution frameworks, and compliance, with direct B2B partnership experience.
  • Be proactive, accountable for results, and capable of performing under pressure to deliver excellent results.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is advantageous but not mandatory.
