Role summary
This position sits within the eCommerce team and is focused on keeping Galeries Lafayette’s online store running smoothly and efficiently. The role covers everyday digital operations, website performance, customer journey improvements, platform coordination, and alignment with the wider business plan.
The objective is to improve operational effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and revenue outcomes while preserving a seamless, premium shopping experience online.
Business context
As the brand grows its footprint in India, this role becomes central to making sure the eCommerce platform is well-optimized and runs without friction. The position involves technical, logistical, and customer-facing responsibilities and requires close collaboration with teams across marketing, IT, customer service, and logistics to keep the digital business scalable and easy to use.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day functioning of the eCommerce platform and ensure all website features are working as intended.
- Partner with internal IT teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues, improve platform speed and reliability, and maintain security standards.
- Handle product catalogue maintenance, content refreshes, and online merchandising so the site always reflects current products, promotions, and brand content.

- Strengthened brand consistency across customer touchpoints and marketing channels.
- Better conversion performance from campaigns through clear, persuasive, and audience-relevant communication.

Eligibility
- Professionals with 3 to 5 years of experience in digital operations, eCommerce, or online retail.
- Candidates with experience in luxury, premium retail, or fashion eCommerce will have an advantage.
- Applicants should have hands-on exposure to managing eCommerce platforms.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams such as marketing, IT, supply chain, and customer experience is preferred.
- Exposure to large-scale campaigns, product launches, and omnichannel operations is required.
