Asset Protection Representative

About the Role

Join Loblaw Companies Limited and contribute to the safety and security of one of Canada's leading retail grocery and pharmacy businesses. As an Asset Protection Representative based at No Frills in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, you will play a critical role in safeguarding people, property, and assets, creating a secure shopping environment, and reducing theft and fraud.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible, professional presence in-store to deter theft, fraud, and violations of company policies.
• Lawfully and safely apprehend offenders following corporate guidelines and legal requirements.
• Conduct thorough investigations, collecting and analyzing evidence internally and collaborating with law enforcement when necessary.
• Work with store leadership to identify loss patterns and develop effective prevention measures.
• Ensure compliance with company security standards, policies, and provincial regulations.
• Adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications & Experience

• Possess a valid Provincial Security Guard License and knowledge of relevant legislation including the Criminal Code of Canada and the Trespass to Property Act.
• Experience using technology such as CCTV surveillance systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong communication skills coupled with an approachable, confident, and respectful demeanor.
• High levels of integrity, trustworthiness, accountability, and a proactive mindset toward problem-solving.
• Prior experience in grocery, pharmacy, or other high-volume retail settings is advantageous.

Compensation Details
