Role Summary
The Engagement Officer for Online Networks plays a vital role in building connected and collaborative professional communities among South Australian educators. This role involves strategically designing and facilitating teacher and school leader interactions to share best practices, engage with curriculum staff, and utilize learning services effectively.
The position bridges the gap between departmental policies and classroom practices by developing high-functioning networks. It ensures educators from preschool to secondary levels have equitable access to peer support, evidence-based resources, and real-time collaboration tools, ultimately improving educational outcomes for students statewide.
Required Qualifications and Conditions
- No mandatory essential qualification.
- Ideal candidates will have a tertiary degree in education, community engagement, or a related field.
- Successful applicants must obtain a Department for Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check prior to employment and renew it every five years.
- Completion of the RRHAN – EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead Masterclass or Fundamentals course is required, with updates every three years.
- Additional special conditions detailed in the position description must be observed.
Remuneration and Work Conditions
- Salary range is ASO6 level: $105,747 to $111,854 per annum for full-time (1.0 FTE).
- Includes 12% superannuation and leave loading.
- This is an ongoing full-time position.
