About the Role
Join Amedisys, a leading and trusted nationwide provider of home health and hospice care, as an Area Director of Hospice Business Development. This position offers an opportunity to impact patient healing by supporting home-based hospice services in designated territories.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary range from 105000 to 125000 USD, plus eligibility for bonuses.

Geographic Territory
- Operations cover selected regions including Burlington, Linwood, and Toms River in New Jersey, and Newark and Milford in Delaware.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee account executives responsible for client relationships within the assigned market territory.
- Implement strategic sales initiatives mandated by the company to meet growth objectives.
- Support account executives in generating new business connections, enhancing market analysis, and nurturing existing partnerships.
- Design and execute sales and marketing plans aimed at achieving defined quotas and expanding market presence.
- Perform additional duties as required to support the department and organizational goals.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Preferred educational background is a bachelor's degree in business or management disciplines.
- Minimum of three years of sales experience in healthcare.
- Supervisory experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Possession of reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and appropriate liability insurance.
- Must be willing and able to travel extensively (approximately 50% or more) within the assigned territory.
