Role Purpose
The Apparel Graphics Designer II for Quick-to-Market initiatives plays a vital part in visually and conceptually translating Under Armour’s narratives onto apparel products. Collaborating closely with design leadership, this role manages the full creative process from initial ideation and story development to creating tech packs and supporting production.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with design leadership and team members to create apparel graphics and trims that embody Under Armour’s brand identity and quality standards.
- Collect, prepare, and deliver conceptual proposals.
- Exhibit adaptability, strong organizational skills, and multitasking abilities.
- Develop and maintain detailed tech packs for production.
- Offer design assistance beyond assigned projects as required.
- Stay well-informed of current graphic, apparel, art, and sports culture trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with about 5 years of relevant experience; or a Master’s degree with approximately 3 years; or around 9 years of relevant experience without a degree.
- Background in apparel, graphic, or industrial design.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Strong passion for designing innovative and engaging products daily.
- Understanding of garment construction and materials; familiarity with manufacturing processes is a plus.
- Ability to convey ideas through sketching.
- Basic knowledge of screen-printing, trim design, and apparel assembly.
Work Environment and Location
- Must live within commuting range of the Baltimore, MD office.
- Hybrid work schedule requiring four days per week on-site presence.

Compensation
