Job description
Overview
Google is seeking an APAC Strategy and Operations Manager to support strategic marketing work across Asia-Pacific, with emphasis on AI, search, and social priorities. This role helps manage the business cadence, including budgeting, OKRs, planning, and review cycles, while also driving strategic initiatives and communicating decisions to key stakeholders.
You will contribute to programs and forums that build awareness, understanding, and adoption of Google AI products within marketing workflows. The position involves close collaboration with global, regional, and local teams, as well as cross-functional work with leaders across marketing, product, sales, and finance to solve problems, execute projects, and improve operational outcomes.

Minimum qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on professional experience.
- At least 4 years of background in tech marketing, brand management, or strategy consulting.
- At least 2 years of experience working directly with executive-level stakeholders.
- At least 2 years of experience building business strategy or leading cross-functional initiatives.
Preferred qualifications
- A master's degree or MBA.
- Experience in a strategy consulting environment.
- Familiarity with Google's products and the broader technology sector.
- Comfort working through ambiguity in a fast-moving, evolving setting with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Strong ability in problem solving, analysis, business judgment, planning, and operational delivery.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Use data and analytical thinking to shape marketing priorities and support recommendations.
- Work with leadership to define the annual APAC strategy for consumer apps and brand social marketing, including key priorities and investment needs, while coordinating deliverables for director- and vice president-level stakeholders.
- Build strong partnerships with consumer app and brand social marketing teams and other cross-functional stakeholders to uncover new strategic opportunities.
- Increase marketing efficiency and effectiveness by bringing structure and discipline to operational processes.
- Support executive and team communications by clarifying the message and preparing internal communication materials.
