About the Role

This position sits within AML/CFT operations and is centered on transaction monitoring work. The role involves reviewing alerts, carrying out investigations, and maintaining a high standard of quality in line with process requirements and productivity expectations. While transaction monitoring is the main focus, the work may also extend to other customer due diligence activities when needed.

What You’ll Do

• Review AML/CFT transaction monitoring alerts and investigate cases thoroughly.
• Ensure investigations are completed consistently and in accordance with internal processes.
• Close alerts within the required timelines, acting as both L1 and L2 reviewer where needed.
• Follow standard operating procedures closely and maintain proper records and documentation.
• Assist with other ad-hoc initiatives and operational projects as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in AML transaction monitoring is preferred.
• Working knowledge of MAS guidelines, including MAS 626.
• Understanding of the full AML process flow, such as trigger events, periodic reviews, and name screening.
• Strong spoken and written communication skills.
• A candidate who is flexible, adaptable, careful, collaborative, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and work efficiently within deadlines.
• Comfortable using MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Google Sheets.
• AML-related certifications are an added advantage.
