Overview
We are seeking an Analyst/Associate to join our Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team, playing an essential role in advancing our platform's growth and transactions. This role encompasses involvement in the entire transaction cycle, from creating marketing materials and conducting financial analyses to presenting outcomes to internal teams and clients, as well as managing daily execution tasks. The position offers hands-on training, ongoing mentorship, continuous feedback, and various growth opportunities in a collaborative and inclusive setting.
Key Duties
- Manage execution of public capital raising transactions, including IPOs and follow-on offerings for issuer clients.
- Support senior bankers in preparing client materials such as pitches and requests for proposals.
- Collaborate with internal teams including industry coverage, sales and trading, syndicate, equity research, and legal departments.
- Develop thought leadership content related to capital markets and the technology sector.
- Conduct in-depth analyses for issuer clients involving precedent transactions and shareholder targeting.
- Prepare presentation decks and internal committee memorandums prior to transaction launches.
Qualifications and Skills
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field is required.
- At least one year of relevant investment banking experience in coverage or ECM roles.
- Strong expertise in accounting, finance, quantitative analysis, and professional business writing.
- Understanding of capital markets along with ECM transaction execution processes.
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to engage effectively with senior professionals, clients, and key stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, and capable of working independently while managing multiple projects accurately.
