Role overview
The Supply Chain Finance Analyst will support finance activities across cost and inventory management, fixed assets, and lease accounting.
Core responsibilities
- Track incoming requests related to product costing and keep them organized.
- Build and maintain product master data used for costing.
- Prepare new product cost calculations for manufacturing plants in SAP.
- Handle product cost calculations for commercial and copack plants in SAP.
- Work out additive cost at the SKU level.
- Carry out cost checks, validation, and analysis.
- Update purchase conditions and selling conditions as needed.
- Prepare and distribute intercompany price lists.
- Resolve issues linked to new product costing in coordination with business stakeholders.
- Review cost variances and investigate differences.
- Follow standard operating business processes and update them when required.
- Complete assigned tasks within SLA timelines.
Required qualifications
The role calls for at least 3 years of experience, including a minimum of 1 year in product costing. Candidates should be comfortable handling large datasets and working collaboratively on Google Sheets.
A commerce background is required along with one of the following qualifications: CA Inter/Final, ICWA Inter/Final, CIMA partial/full, MBA in Finance, or another equivalent qualification. Knowledge of SOX, US GAAP, and IFRS is also expected, and hands-on SAP FICO experience is mandatory.
Preferred background
Preference will be given to candidates with a B.Com degree, CA/ICWA/CIMA Inter or Final status, or an MBA. Prior exposure to product costing will be an advantage.
Strong working knowledge of SAP FI, CO, PA, and MM modules, along with Excel, DOMO, and BI tools, is desirable.
