About the team
You will join Sea’s HQ Finance organization, a central function that supports the accounting and finance requirements of its three main businesses: Garena, Shopee, and Monee, across a broad regional footprint. The Regional Business Finance team focuses on business-level financial management, covering reporting, analysis, budgeting, and business partnering. In this role, you will work closely with country and regional stakeholders to carry out financial analysis, maintain compliance, and help drive sound business decisions.
Role overview
This position is suited to a finance professional who can support month-end activities, review data accuracy, analyze performance trends, and contribute to planning and forecasting work. You will also be involved in cross-functional projects and initiatives that improve processes and strengthen financial operations.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with country finance teams on month-end close activities, validating system data accuracy and handling accounting-related matters.
- Analyze Monee’s financial performance and regional operating metrics.
- Support management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting as part of FP&A responsibilities.
- Flag issues and work with local and regional stakeholders on initiatives such as system rollouts and implementation projects.
- Contribute to ongoing process and operational improvement efforts.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or a relevant professional accounting qualification such as Chartered Accountant or ACCA.
- At least 2 years of full-time experience in a finance-related role.
- Experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is an added advantage.
- A collaborative mindset with a genuine interest in learning and professional growth.
- Strong enthusiasm for finance, with a willingness to question existing ways of working.
- Comfortable working in fast-changing environments and focused on delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels and build productive relationships.
- Excellent logical reasoning, analytical ability, and attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- SQL and PowerBI skills are beneficial.
