Job description

Role overview

This position supports the daily administration and quality assurance of digital assets within the Digital Asset Management (DAM) environment. The role focuses on enforcing metadata rules, handling uploads and bulk ingestion, organizing and spotlighting content across the Content Hub and Brand Hubs, delivering user guidance, and working closely with internal teams and external partners to make sure the DAM setup supports business requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Assess incoming asset submissions and decide whether to approve or reject them based on metadata and compliance guidelines, all within a 48-hour SLA.
  • Handle bulk upload requests from agencies, partners, and project teams, ensuring files are mapped correctly and tagged with accurate metadata.
  • Manage the selection, curation, and promotion of content in the Content Hub and Brand Hubs, including refreshing homepage tiles and featured assets so the experience stays current and campaign-relevant.
  • Improve metadata hygiene by cleaning, enriching, and standardizing records to make assets easier to locate and use.
  • Act as the main support contact for DAM users by troubleshooting issues, providing first-level assistance, and escalating cases when needed.
  • Work with brand teams, agencies, and campaign stakeholders to ensure assets align with marketing plans and intended use cases.
  • Create and conduct user training sessions, both one-to-one and in groups, run office hours when required, and maintain training guides and documentation.
  • Monitor and share reporting on DAM usage, upload volume, metadata quality, and support requests, then recommend process or tool improvements based on findings.

Expected outcomes

  • Asset reviews and approval decisions are completed within 48 hours of submission.
  • Brand Hubs remain updated and display approved, relevant content.
  • Homepage and content tile updates are delivered regularly in partnership with Marketing Operations.
  • Users receive helpful training and support, and issues are resolved quickly or routed appropriately.
  • Asset searchability and metadata completeness continue to improve over time, as reflected in search success or completeness reporting.

Qualifications and experience

Applicants should have 2 to 5 years of experience working with digital asset libraries, DAM platforms, or similar content management responsibilities. Prior hands-on exposure to a major DAM system is preferred. The role also calls for practical knowledge of metadata structures, taxonomy management, and high-volume asset ingestion. Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills are important, especially when working with agencies and cross-functional marketing teams.

Preferred background

Experience in consumer packaged goods or large enterprise settings will be an advantage. Familiarity with brand governance, rights management, and basic image and video file standards is also preferred.

Skills and competencies

The role requires strong attention to detail, a structured approach to work, and the ability to consistently meet service-level timelines. Good organization, time management, training delivery, and presentation skills are important, along with the ability to explain technical workflows to non-technical users. Problem-solving ability, troubleshooting aptitude, and a collaborative mindset are also key, as the role involves balancing multiple priorities.

Location

Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India — Venus Stratum GCC.
