Position Overview
This role offers a salary range between USD 110,000 and USD 135,000, contingent upon the candidate's qualifications including skills, experience, education, and credentials. The position involves delivering sector-specific expertise combined with innovative, collaborative team efforts to execute a comprehensive range of capital market products using an integrated approach focused on sector ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine written marketing materials for internal and external pitch presentations.
- Assist deal teams in preparing proposals, presentations, and securing mandates.
- Gain insight into client needs and desired business outcomes to enhance service delivery.
- Provide supportive documentation to ensure exceptional client service experiences.
- Identify areas for improving efficiency and delivering better services to both internal and external partners.
- Contribute analytical insights to support deal teams’ decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on executing strategic initiatives.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment of objectives.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of company and industry financial and operational data.
- Perform advanced financial modeling and valuation analyses pertinent to client and sector evaluations.
- Create statistical reports and analyze financial trends for presentation purposes.
- Compile industry data and complete high-quality report generation and analysis.
- Apply technical expertise to understand the implications of work on client transactions and projects.
- Acquire proficiency in utilizing required systems and financial models.
- Assist in developing communication strategies, customized messaging, and select distribution channels to influence desired behaviors.
- Support continuous improvement by giving feedback on processes and methodologies.
- Integrate diverse data sources for enhanced analysis, streamlined processes, and reporting efficiency.
- Prepare financial models to underpin strategic recommendations to clients.
- Incorporate risk management, internal controls, and compliance considerations into daily tasks, adhering strictly to relevant policies and procedures.
- Focus predominantly on designated business groups or sectors.
- Exercise creativity in proposing new solutions and demonstrate independent judgment to identify and solve problems within established guidelines.
- Apply measured risk-taking consistent with the Risk Management Framework to protect the bank’s interests and comply with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Typically requires between 3 and 5 years of relevant experience paired with a post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Undergraduate degree with academic focus in finance, economics, or accounting, accompanied by strong academic achievements.
- Training and expertise in financial analysis.
- Between 0 to 3 years of consecutive relevant experience in investment or corporate banking.
- Demonstrated initiative, strong prioritization, and effective multitasking capabilities.
- High proficiency in constructing complex financial models.
- Expertise with financial software applications and database management systems.
- Ability to develop statistical presentations.
- Creative, insightful, and resourceful approach to work challenges.
- Strong interpersonal skills suitable for demanding team settings.
- Highly organized in reviewing and assessing detailed information across multiple projects.
- Ability to work independently within team environments.
- Possesses specialized knowledge through education or professional experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits
This salaried role offers a pay range indicative of the position at BMO Financial Group, which may vary based on location, skills, experience, qualifications, and other factors. For part-time employment, salary is prorated based on hours worked. Compensation may include performance incentives, discretionary bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package encompassing health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.
