Role Overview
The position involves hands-on responsibility to execute international KYC (Know Your Customer), KYB (Know Your Business), bank account verifications, and basic transaction monitoring activities under defined standard operating procedures (SOPs). The analyst is expected to accurately perform checks, maintain workflows, and escalate any anomalies in a timely manner to support compliance and operational efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities
- Implement KYC, KYB, and bank verification checks meticulously following approved SOPs and process guidelines.
- Thoroughly examine customer and business documentation for precision, completeness, and compliance with requirements.
- Diligently record all necessary information into internal systems and tracking tools ensuring data integrity.
- Detect missing details, document deficiencies, or procedural violations and report these as directed.
- Conduct fundamental transaction monitoring following preset rules, alerts, and checklists to identify irregularities.
- Document monitoring results comprehensively and ensure the accuracy of all report fields.
- Promptly escalate any unusual or suspicious activity and unresolved cases to supervision for further evaluation.
- Consistently achieve productivity goals, quality benchmarks, and turnaround expectations.
- Adapt swiftly to changes in SOPs and process updates, maintaining precise records and evidence for audit purposes.
- Support a demanding, high-volume operational environment requiring meticulous attention and minimal revisions.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, Finance, Economics, or related disciplines is required.
- Between one and three years of experience in KYC, KYB, due diligence, bank verification, transaction monitoring, or risk management operations.
- Strong adherence to SOPs and process checklists ensuring consistent accuracy.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle high-volume workloads.
- Proficient in written and verbal English to document results and communicate process deviations effectively.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience within Payments, Banking, FinTech, Financial Services, or risk operations.
- Familiarity with SOP-driven workflows and tools such as case management systems or trackers.
- Capable of maintaining accuracy in repetitive, volume-intensive tasks.
- Motivated to learn international verification and monitoring standards.
