Job description

About Roku

Roku is a leading TV streaming platform with a mission to connect the full television ecosystem. The company helps viewers access the content they enjoy, supports publishers in reaching and monetizing large audiences, and gives advertisers tools to engage audiences effectively. Roku operates as a fast-moving public company where team members are expected to contribute from day one and help shape products used by millions of streamers worldwide.

About the Team

The Revenue Operations group focuses on improving monetization and operational efficiency across Roku’s advertising business. Its responsibilities include supply optimization to improve yield, global pricing and packaging strategy, publisher partnership management for ad inventory deals and delivery, and centralizing data tools and systems to make the ad sales organization more efficient. The team works across sales, marketing, product, and client services to strengthen advertising inventory performance through planning, analysis, systems, and partner coordination.

About the Role

Roku is hiring a Business Automation Analyst to support and improve internal operational tooling, with primary focus on the company’s proprietary Order Management System (OMS). The role involves monitoring support channels, studying troubleshooting data, helping shape features, participating in user acceptance testing, and supporting end-user training so that new functionality is adopted smoothly. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with strong problem-solving ability, clear communication skills, and a willingness to learn, think strategically, and take real ownership of their work.

Compensation and Benefits

For New York-based candidates, the estimated annual pay range for this position is $83,000 to $97,000. Final compensation depends on factors such as skills, certifications, and location. The role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability coverage, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.

Working Model

This position follows Roku’s hybrid work approach. Teams are generally in the office Monday through Thursday, while Fridays are flexible for remote work, except where the role or office policy requires five days onsite.

What You Will Do

  • Manage and keep a close watch on the OMS support channel, answering user questions and escalating issues when needed.
  • Review troubleshooting information to spot recurring issues and improvement opportunities, then collaborate with Product and Engineering to address them.
  • Take responsibility for selected OMS features and initiatives under the guidance of the Sr. Manager.
  • Join stakeholder discovery discussions to collect requirements and help shape feature development.
  • Plan and run UAT sessions while gathering and consolidating feedback from end users for ongoing improvements.
  • Write and update detailed OMS user guides with a focus on clarity and ease of use.
  • Develop training content for OMS releases, including materials for features outside your direct area of ownership.
  • Support and lead training sessions for end users to drive smooth adoption of OMS updates.

What We Are Looking For

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in business operations, automation, sales planning, account management, or a similar field.
  • Strong knowledge of the digital and CTV advertising landscape, along with an interest in aligning processes and solutions to business goals.
  • Strong analytical ability to identify trends and insights from troubleshooting data.
  • Exposure to user acceptance testing and training facilitation is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially for documenting processes and creating training resources.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and manage several priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Experience working with order management systems and revenue optimization tools in the advertising industry.
