The opening is for a Voice Actor specializing in American English for CX agent voice cloning. This is a remote contract role with an expected time commitment of 5 to 10 hours per week. Compensation is set at $50 to $150 per hour.

What you will do

• Capture clean, high-quality voice recordings from a range of script styles, including conversational, narrative, and instructional content.
• Speak with clarity, warmth, and expression while controlling pacing, pronunciation, and tone.
• Keep vocal identity, accent, and delivery consistent across multiple recording sessions.
• Work according to detailed recording instructions covering setup, recording environment, and file requirements.
• Record several takes when needed to provide different emotions, emphasis, or delivery styles.

Qualifications

• You must be a native American English speaker currently living in the United States.
• Prior work in voice acting, dubbing, narration, podcasting, or broadcasting is required.
• You should have access to a professional or near-professional recording setup, including a quality microphone, a quiet space, and a pop filter.
• Strong control over intonation, diction, and expressive delivery is important for this role.
• You need to be able to follow scripts closely while still sounding natural.
• Availability of 5 to 10 hours per week throughout the assignment is required.
• You should be comfortable with the possibility that your voice will be cloned for the client’s CX AI agent.

Preferred background

Experience recording for text-to-speech systems, audiobooks, IVR systems, or AI voice datasets will be helpful. Familiarity with audio editing software such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, or Reaper is also preferred. The ability to shift between different vocal styles, such as conversational, corporate, energetic, and calm, is an advantage.
