Amazon Customer Support Specialist - Fresher

Role Overview

This position is for a Customer Service Associate supporting Amazon customers from the Chandigarh location at Anant Raj Tech Park, 5th Floor, Plot No. 1, I.T. Park, Sector 22, Punjab. It is a permanent, full-time role conducted in English. You will serve as the first human point of contact for shoppers and account holders, helping resolve questions related to online purchases, identity checks, account safety, order support, and similar issues.

What You Will Do

• Handle customer queries by phone, chat, and email.
• Use internal tools to find and verify solutions while interacting with customers in real time.
• Support identity verification and account security cases when required.
• Spot and help prevent possible fraud or security concerns that may affect the customer experience.
• Resolve issues independently without relying on scripted replies.
• Provide high-quality assistance for account-related and shopping-related problems.

Work Environment and Schedule

• You will work in an office setting, with most of the shift spent at a desk supporting customers through digital and voice channels.
• The workplace is climate-controlled and designed for comfortable office work.
• Business-casual clothing is suitable for the role.
• Shifts can run from Monday through Sunday and may rotate across late night, overnight, early morning, afternoon, weekend, and overtime schedules.
• Punctuality and full attendance for scheduled shifts are expected.
• You are expected to be fully committed to the customer support role during your employment.

Training and Support

No prior customer service background is necessary. The company provides onboarding, self-paced and trainer-led learning, and a complete equipment package to help you get started. Ongoing learning opportunities are also available.

Eligibility and Requirements

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You should have completed 10+2 / 12th grade.
• Both freshers and experienced candidates are eligible.
• Strong English communication skills are required, including the ability to understand and follow job instructions.
• You must be legally authorised to work in India.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is INR 2,53,000 to INR 3,60,000.
