Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Aircraft Mechanic to join our Calibration Lab Workshop team, located in Doha, Qatar. This position entails calibrating a diverse array of instruments across multiple calibration fields. Candidates must bring a minimum of three years' experience in an ISO 17025 accredited Calibration Laboratory, with preferred expertise in force measurement and load cell calibration.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete assigned calibration and maintenance tasks ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Operate calibration equipment and tools efficiently to meet scheduled timelines for task completion.
- Interpret technical information autonomously to maintain smooth operational flow and productivity standards.
- Undertake additional departmental duties as assigned by management.
- Adhere strictly to company health and safety policies in all activities.
- Ensure rectifications of aircraft components comply with QCAA/EASA PART-145 regulations and uphold quality standards.
- Manage tasks within procedural frameworks and designated deadlines.
- Lead by example to motivate and support the team.
- Communicate any relevant health and safety concerns promptly to team members.
Qualifications and Experience
- High School Diploma, Vocational Qualification, a Diploma or equivalent with at least 3 years' relevant work experience; OR
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years’ related experience.
- Possession of an Aircraft Maintenance Degree, Diploma, or License.
- Holds a basic ICAO Type II license.
- Trade-specific certifications with at least one year of practical experience in the technical field or a similar workshop environment within a recognized airline.
- Relevant reinforcement training and recognized aeronautical or technical training certificates.
- Strong skills pertinent to the role and workshop experience as specified.
