Role overview
The Aircraft Cleaner Agent helps maintain Allegiant Air’s cabin presentation standards by keeping the interior of the aircraft clean and service-ready on an ongoing basis.
Minimum qualifications
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States under the Immigration Act of 1986. A criminal background check is required. Education and experience may be combined when considered for qualification. A high school diploma or GED is required. A current and valid driver’s license is also required.

Job duties
- Carry out routine interior cleaning and deep-cleaning tasks for aircraft.
- Restock onboard items such as magazines and lavatory supplies.
- Use cleaning products and equipment such as washing solutions, scrapers, squeegees, wringer pails, and vacuums as needed for assigned work.
- Complete job-related documentation according to standard procedures.
- Remove trash and other waste connected to the cleaning assignment.
- Track inventory as part of the role.
- Perform aircraft security searches and commissary security searches when required.
- Operate heavy motorized equipment, including tugs, tractors, belt loaders, and bag carts.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
Physical demands and work environment
This position involves frequent standing, sitting, speaking, listening, seeing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and hand/finger use to operate tools and equipment such as hand trucks, carts, ramps, and tugs. Employees may need to lift or carry up to 100 lbs and push or pull up to 300 lbs. Work may occur across different shifts in a 24-hour airport environment. Regular attendance is essential. The role may involve exposure to heights, confined spaces, heavy noise, changing temperatures, wind, and varying light conditions. Employees must be able to crawl in and out of small spaces for extended periods and wear personal protective equipment. Some travel may also be required.
