Role Overview
The AI Operations Strategist role is a contract position working remotely, responsible for crafting, deploying, and enhancing AI-driven workflow solutions within the company's portfolio. This position requires evaluating operational processes to identify automation opportunities and implementing AI tools and integrations to boost efficiency and improve the quality of decision-making.
The strategist will translate business aims into precise AI applications, develop operational playbooks and guidelines, and monitor key metrics to continually improve strategies. Day-to-day activities include collaborating with founders and teams, documenting workflows, conducting experiments, and offering recommendations grounded in data and user responses. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of AI advancements and tools is essential to proactively suggest innovations that elevate operations and asset value.
Required Qualifications
- Expertise in designing and optimizing AI workflows using current AI technologies, automation platforms, and operational analytics.
- Skilled in process mapping and operational strategy, capable of converting business objectives into scalable and repeatable systems.
- Experience with data-driven decision making, including setting and analyzing KPIs and iterating strategies based on quantitative and qualitative data.
- Strong remote collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, clear communication abilities, and proficiency in documenting strategies and procedures systematically.
- Background in product management, operations, consulting, or related areas; prior experience with early-stage startups or investor-supported projects is advantageous.
- Adept at working in a fast-moving, experimental environment with minimal structure and managing several projects simultaneously.
- Understanding of AI ethics, risk management, and responsible AI deployment is beneficial.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, operations, technology, or a related field.
