Role overview
This role is based in Central Singapore and sits within a one-year contract that may be renewed or converted. It focuses on supporting AI data quality, annotation workflows, model evaluation, and prompt improvement work for AI initiatives.
Work arrangement
- Work location: Central
- Contract length: 1 year, with renewal or conversion possible
- Schedule: 5-day work week, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Sunday
- Salary: Open for discussion
Key responsibilities
- Carry out AI data annotation and model evaluation tasks while following defined guidelines and quality benchmarks.
- Review annotated datasets to check for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with the project’s goals.
- Spot annotation mistakes, quality risks, and performance issues, then suggest practical improvements.
- Give vendors and annotators clear feedback that helps raise data quality and improve efficiency.
- Work with project teams to create, refine, and roll out annotation guidelines for new AI projects.
- Support pilot-stage work through hands-on annotation and help build annotation processes that can scale.
- Develop, evaluate, and fine-tune prompts to improve model responses, while maintaining prompt libraries and best practices.
- Study annotation outputs and evaluation findings to produce insights, reports, and recommendations for continuous AI performance improvement.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience creating and improving prompts for AI systems.
- Ability to work in at least one of these languages: Indonesian, Filipino (Tagalog), Spanish (Mexico), Portuguese (Brazil), Bahasa Melayu, Vietnamese, Thai, Arabic, Korean, or German, since regional stakeholders will be involved.
- Strong interest in AI, large language models, and human-computer interaction, along with a collaborative mindset and curiosity to keep learning new technologies.
- Practical exposure to LLM/VLM-related work such as data annotation, model evaluation, prompt engineering, or agent building.
- Experience with content strategy and quality assessment for images and videos.
- Background in STEM or humanities disciplines such as science, engineering, medicine, finance, law, sociology, or psychology.
- Motivation to grow a career in the AI/LLM space and solve diverse technical problems.
