Job description
Job Purpose and Role
Support the identification, evaluation, and execution of automation opportunities within Operations aimed at enhancing efficiency, quality of service, control robustness, and overall operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Apply and enforce approved departmental policies, processes, and procedures while instructing team members and overseeing adherence, particularly in relation to SAMA Execution Orders, Instructions, and Inquiries.
- Manage daily operational tasks ensuring compliance with standards, SAMA Circulars and Regulations.
- Carry out Execution Orders and Instructions which include processing payments, establishing monthly collection garnishments, and sending SAMA letters.
- Collaborate with business units to secure User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Hypercare approvals.
- Offer focused oversight for newly launched automation bots prior to handing over to the support teams.
- Lead discovery sessions with business teams to identify, assess, and quantify process automation opportunities, preparing comprehensive reports emphasizing high return on investment and business benefits.
- Identify operational processes apt for automation and document these automation prospects.
- Support the design and deployment of RPA initiatives in coordination with pertinent stakeholders.
- Track the performance of automation solutions and ensure anticipated benefits are realized.
- Coordinate with Operations and Technology teams during automation rollouts.
- Continuously monitor and propose enhancements to automation implementations.
- Ensure all automation activities align with operational and governance standards.
- Prepare analytical assessments and reports on automation opportunities and project deliverables.
- Engage in continuous improvement projects targeting systems, processes, and practices, incorporating SAMA instructions and aiming for cost reduction and productivity gains.
- Participate in projects related to SAMA Execution Orders, Instructions, and Inquiries, sponsored either by SAMA or the Bank.
- Adhere strictly to safety, quality, and environmental policies to maintain a safe workplace.
- Perform other tasks and assignments as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Computer Science.
- Between 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in Banking Operations.
- Intermediate proficiency in English language.
