Job Overview
We are looking for a Senior Specialist to lead efforts in business process reengineering and improvement at Riyad Bank, located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves managing and enhancing operational processes, ensuring compliance with policies, and facilitating continuous improvement initiatives across various bank departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute approved departmental policies, procedures, and processes, while instructing staff and overseeing compliance to maintain controlled operations.
- Manage daily activities for the Business Process Reengineering Section, ensuring adherence to defined standards and procedures.
- Perform quality-based process analysis, evaluate adherence to policies and methodologies, and propose enhancements for improvement.
- Design, develop, and revise business processes assigned for assessments or as part of projects.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to review and approve process changes.
- Compile process review reports highlighting findings and recommending corrective actions for process optimization.
- Monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to verify process design adequacy and effective implementation.
- Oversee implementation plans for all process enhancement projects.
- Identify core processes, develop annual plans, and strategize process advances.
- Create change management plans to ensure smooth adaptation to changes within the business.
- Evaluate impacts of changes on people, processes, and systems, and ensure communication and awareness activities to support effective change adoption.
- Lead discussions with Process Owners and stakeholders to develop detailed process maps including KPIs, controls, and SLAs.
- Assist Process Owners in applying recommended changes from the Business Process Management (BPM) team across various projects.
- Maintain effective coordination with bank departments to align communication and objectives.
- Conduct training and awareness sessions about process enhancement standards and practices to pinpoint improvement areas.
- Collaborate with the Business Process Architect team to align processes with defined procedures and SLAs, ensuring process efficiency.
- Contribute to identifying continuous improvement opportunities by benchmarking against international best practices, focusing on process improvement, cost containment, and productivity growth.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely departmental reports in line with organizational requirements, policies, and standards.
- Adhere to all applicable safety, quality, and environmental policies to promote a healthy and safe work environment.
- Carry out any additional duties or assignments as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years’ experience in operational risk, security, compliance, or audit within banking or financial institutions.
- Proficient in English at an advanced level.
