Job description

Role overview

This opportunity is being handled on behalf of a partner organization, which will manage applications and all subsequent hiring steps. The hiring company is seeking an AI Business Analyst located in Germany.

The position combines business strategy, process redesign, and practical artificial intelligence work. Your focus will be on finding AI opportunities that create measurable value, turning operational challenges into structured solutions, and making sure ideas are both commercially sound and technically achievable. You will partner with stakeholders to run discovery sessions, document end-to-end processes, define solution requirements, and support both technical and product teams with clear direction. The role also includes fast validation through prototyping with modern AI and low-code tools. Because this is a client-facing and highly collaborative position, you will act as the link between business needs and technology delivery while keeping governance and regulatory expectations in mind.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to uncover, rank, and confirm AI use cases that can deliver meaningful business results.
  • Prepare business cases that include ROI calculations, success measures, and practical feasibility reviews for AI initiatives.
  • Review current workflows, identify pain points or inefficiencies, and redesign processes with AI-supported improvements.
  • Convert business needs into precise technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for implementation teams.
  • Create quick prototypes with no-code or low-code tools and LLM-based frameworks to test ideas and refine concepts early.
  • Contribute to AI governance and compliance work, ensuring solutions align with regulatory expectations in financial and enterprise settings.
  • Maintain active stakeholder communication so expectations, delivery progress, and value realization stay aligned throughout the engagement.

Requirements

  • At least 3–5+ years of experience in business analysis, consulting, process improvement, or digital transformation.
  • Practical experience with generative AI tools, LLM frameworks, or orchestration platforms such as LangChain or AutoGen.
  • Ability to run workshops, gather requirements, and build alignment between business and technical groups.
  • Strong capability in process mapping, workflow design, and ROI-focused business case development.
  • Comfort using no-code or low-code platforms for rapid prototyping and concept validation.
  • Working knowledge of AI governance, model validation, and regulatory issues in financial services or similar regulated environments.
  • Experience with structured data concepts such as ontologies, knowledge graphs, or enterprise data models is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical ideas in clear business language.

Benefits

  • Fully remote setup available across eligible regions in Europe.
  • Flexible engagement through part-time or full-time B2B contract options.
  • Chance to contribute to advanced AI transformation work in regulated industries.
  • Exposure to modern AI tools, frameworks, and practical enterprise use cases.
  • High-impact position with direct influence on business outcomes and ROI-oriented initiatives.
  • Collaborative, cross-functional environment with frequent stakeholder interaction.
  • Ongoing learning opportunities in applied AI, consulting, and digital transformation.
