Role Overview

An established exporter of handknotted rugs and carpets in Jaipur is looking for an experienced export sales professional to join as Manager, Senior Manager, or AGM. The role is focused on growing overseas business and managing key international accounts.

Candidates should bring 4 to 25 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop international business opportunities and lead export sales efforts.
• Build, maintain, and grow relationships with overseas buyers, importers, wholesalers, retailers, and buying houses.
• Handle commercial negotiations and work toward achieving sales targets.
• Work closely with design, merchandising, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth and timely order execution.
• Attend global trade fairs and participate in meetings with international buyers.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in export sales for made-ups, carpets, or rugs is essential.
• A strong history of managing international customers and expanding export business is expected.
• Good understanding of global trade practices, export paperwork, and international market dynamics is required.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management abilities are necessary.
• The role requires readiness to travel overseas.
