Role overview
This position supports air export billing and operations by making sure invoices, billing reports, and shipping documents are accurate, timely, and properly controlled. The goal is to maintain smooth execution, strong documentation standards, and high customer satisfaction.
The department is expanding and is looking for a bilingual professional who is comfortable in a fast-moving, structured, and dynamic workplace. The ideal person is eager to learn, works hard, and contributes positively to team performance.
Key duties
- Support the supervisor or manager in guiding operations assistants across accounting and operations tasks.
- Monitor daily export shipments and verify that billing, billing reports, and shipping paperwork follow customer SOPs and are completed correctly.
- Make sure invoices, reports, and shipping documents are sent out, filed, and maintained in line with local rules and regulations.
- Handle Pharmaceutical and Healthcare documentation requirements in accordance with GDP and GDPMDS standards where applicable.
- Track and resolve document-related shipment disputes quickly, including invoices, customs permits, and shipping paperwork.
- Prepare all paperwork, including invoices, reports, permits, and airway bills, so it remains complete and aligned with customer profile requirements.
- Manage Certified True Copy requests from customers and the accounting team.
- Coordinate with destination offices on Free Domicile Shipment reports.
- Look for better ways of working and help raise departmental productivity.
- Keep FSC exception customer records and airline fuel surcharge listing costs updated without delay.
- Respond to customer calls and provide support when needed.
Qualifications and experience
Candidates should have at least tertiary education and 3 to 5 years of relevant airfreight operations experience.
Applicants must be computer literate and comfortable using email, Excel, and Word. Strong spoken and written English is required, along with solid customer service ability. The role also calls for initiative, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and the capacity to perform well under pressure. Good organization and attention to detail are essential.
