The Opportunity
This role offers a chance to directly impact environmental outcomes and build strong relationships. You will be responsible for ecological restoration and land management activities across various sites, balancing environmental, community, and operational needs. This position requires practical execution, strategic foresight, and effective stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ecological restoration plans and annual programs from inception to completion.
- Cultivate trusted relationships with landowners, mana whenua, councils, and contractors to achieve successful on-the-ground results.
- Ensure adherence to environmental obligations, including consent compliance and offset delivery across all sites.
- Contribute to land use planning and prioritize restoration efforts to support current operations and future development.
- Support broader generation and development projects by addressing critical environmental and land considerations.

Qualifications and Experience
- A relevant tertiary qualification in environmental, land, or resource management, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated experience in environmental planning, land management, or resource management.
- Solid understanding of planning frameworks and consent processes.
- Proven ability to manage challenging conversations with resilience.
- Confidence in managing work programs, priorities, and contractors effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with a respectful, relationship-driven approach.
