Job description
Business overview
GSK is pursuing ambitious growth plans for the years ahead, with a target of reaching £40 billion in annual sales by 2031. The company’s Ahead Together approach focuses on early action to prevent disease and improve outcomes for people while helping healthcare systems manage care more effectively.
The organisation’s portfolio spans vaccines, specialist medicines and general medicines. Through ongoing innovation and a strong commitment to scientific and technical quality, GSK aims to introduce new treatments that address major health challenges and make a meaningful difference to patients worldwide.
Role summary
This position is focused on expanding adult vaccination access across Lucknow by developing strong partnerships with clinics, specialists and other healthcare stakeholders. The role involves helping create and support practical, safe vaccination services while using market insight to build long-term demand. GSK is looking for someone who is curious, open to coaching and strongly patient-focused.
The role is based onsite in Lucknow and includes regular travel across the city and nearby areas to meet customers, support clinic setup and strengthen vaccination adoption.
Key responsibilities
- Map, approach and bring on board vaccinating clinics, specialist practices and private healthcare providers across Lucknow and surrounding locations.
- Develop durable relationships with physicians, specialists and clinic decision-makers who influence adult vaccination choices.
- Assist clinics in setting up vaccination services end to end, including clinical education, support on stock planning and ordering, in-clinic process design and patient engagement.
- Apply customer feedback and local market information to maintain accurate account records, anticipate demand and support business goals.
- Partner with pharmacies, diagnostic centres and hospital groups to launch new vaccination clinics or expand existing walk-in services.
- Work closely with internal teams to deliver training, materials and programs that enable safe and effective vaccine delivery.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare sales or account management, with direct experience working with private clinics and specialist doctors in an Indian city or regional market. The role calls for confident communication, commercial judgement and comfort working extensively in the field.
The position requires the legal right to work in India and the ability to operate onsite in Lucknow.
Preferred background
- A qualification in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, nursing, business or another related field is an advantage.
- Experience taking a healthcare service or solution to market would be helpful.
- Prior involvement in designing or running vaccination services, clinic workflows or immunisation programs is preferred.
- Exposure to hospital administration, diagnostic networks or pharmacy chains would be beneficial.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and digital sales reporting tools is useful.
- Experience guiding, coaching or mentoring colleagues is a plus.
What you bring
You are motivated by improving adult vaccination access and outcomes. You listen carefully, solve practical issues and work with integrity and respect. You learn quickly, keep the patient at the centre of decisions and want to build a career in a purpose-led environment.
Application guidance
Candidates are invited to submit a CV along with a short statement explaining their interest in the role and how their experience can help improve adult vaccination services in Lucknow.
