About the Role
The Administrative Officer (AO) at Securitas Ireland supports the Security Team Manager at the Dublin 22 data center, ensuring smooth security operations for a major client. This role involves handling client interactions, resolving service issues, maintaining Security Operations Center systems, scheduling, audits, and access control management. The AO also assists with personnel training and coordinates with various stakeholders to maintain compliance and high service standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as primary contact for data center management and security personnel in the absence of the Security Team Manager.
- Support training and certification processes for new security staff, maintain training records, and liaise with training specialists and local branches.
- Ensure all security personnel comply with company policies and standard operating procedures.
- Fill in operational roles such as Screener, Screening Supervisor, Responder, or Control Room Supervisor during peak periods or staff absences.
- Maintain and troubleshoot on-site security technologies and may extend support to other infrastructure sites.
- Recommend and assist with corrective actions and counseling for security staff under STM guidance.
- Manage scheduling, site equipment inspections, audit compliance, and conduct recurring audits, reporting critical information to client management.
- Maintain accurate security documentation per established procedures and perform regular business operations tasks.
- Identify security deficiencies and suggest improvements to enhance the security program.
- Monitor safety issues within the facility and ensure adherence to safe work practices and company policies.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
- Associate degree with at least four years of relevant experience in security or business management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Possession of a PSA License is mandatory.
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Compliance with licensing and certification requirements related to security roles.
- Strong understanding of 24/7 security operations and staff supervision techniques.
- Advanced computer proficiency, excellent communication skills, and customer service orientation.
- Ability to multitask, exercise independent judgment, maintain composure under pressure, and motivate team members.
- Physical requirements include sitting, standing, walking for extended periods, carrying light equipment, and occasionally performing physically demanding tasks.
