Role Overview
DIT TECH is looking for a remote Administrative Lawyer with 2 to 3 years of relevant legal experience. This role involves managing regulatory compliance, civil rights litigation, and contract negotiations. The successful candidate will handle Section 1983 and Section 1981 lawsuits, provide legal risk assessments for leadership, and ensure adherence to various administrative and employment regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, file, and litigate lawsuits related to Section 1983 and Section 1981 and negotiate settlements, with eligibility for bonuses.
- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, including vendor agreements and partnership deals.
- Maintain compliance with the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), privacy laws, employment standards, and administrative regulations.
- Convert complicated legal matters into straightforward advice accessible to non-legal team members.
Qualifications
- Possess 2 to 3 years of experience in administrative law, regulatory compliance, or civil rights-related legal practice.
- Hold an active Virginia bar license in good standing.
- Have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
- Demonstrate strong skills in contract drafting and the ability to manage time effectively while working remotely.
Additional Information
- Compensation ranges between $40 and $50 per hour, with potential settlement bonuses.
- This position is fully remote under a contractual agreement.
